Featuring patented FaceVision 3D Facial recognition technology and
proprietary ActiveFusion multi-biometric technology, our ActiveID systems provide the

Established in 1997 in Silicon Valley, Geometrix was initially funded by Government
agencies including DARPA, Air Force, and Navy to provide advanced research
in automated methods for digitizing people, places, and objects as 3D models.
Our advanced research resulted in over a dozen issued and pending patents, an
Innovation Award from Computer Graphics World, and an Advanced Technology
Program award from NIST. Commercially, we developed the World's only 3D facial
shape sensing products that operate under any lighting conditions, followed by
the world's most accurate software for comparing 3D faces, and then a complete
platform and product family for solving real world human identification problems
using those technologies.
Today, Geometrix offers the world's only facial biometric identity solutions
accurate enough to control the release of hardened prisoners using facial
biometrics. With accuracy approaching fingerprint levels, our ActiveID systems
with FaceVision 3D technology perform like an AFIS for faces in any identity
application, without the wait. Our newest systems add ActiveFusion technology to deeply fuse 3D
face, 2D face, and fingerprint biometrics, which provides identification
accuracies that surpass any single biometric alone.
